As Director of Aquatics for the O'Neal School, Jen Schmitz coaches the Falcon middle school team, the varsity swim team and is the head coach for the O'Neal Aquatics USA swim club. Jen started swimming competitively at the age of 9. She swam for Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota where she earned a degree in physical education with a minor in coaching. She has more than 30 years of swimming instruction and coaching experience. Jen was named coach of the year for the Tri-TAC conference in 2021, 2022, and 2023 and was named NCISAA coach of the year in 2019. Jen has coached the lady Falcons to the NCISAA State title in 2014, 2019, and most recently 2023. “It has been a pleasure to be a part of the development of O'Neal Aquatics and to see the programs flourish," exclaims Jen. “I’m looking forward to continuing  my expertise in swim lessons as well as competitive swimming to this community.” Jen has lived with her husband and four children in Moore County for the past 19 years.
