The Moore County Arts Council is hosting its 2019 Young People’s Arts Festival this month. The Campbell House is full of art from schools all over Moore County. The exhibit will be open through March 28th. Two walls are dedicated to O’Neal submittals. Of the 34 exhibits, half of them are decorated with a ribbon. In a reception on March 1st at the exhibit, O’Neal students were recognized for their accomplishments. O’Neal won the overall high school award. O'Neal also placed 3rd in the elementary school division out of 16 other schools. Special congratulations goes to sophomore Naomi Johnson for winning the Festival’s Judges Choice award with her drawing – “Medusa”.
