Ways to Give

Gifts to the Annual Fund may be made via cash, check, credit card, or securities.  Donors can also give online. Additionally, contributions may be made through a variety of planned gifts.  The O’Neal School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, independent school and all gifts are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.  The Annual Fund runs from July 1 to June 30, and to be credited as a gift for the fiscal year, payments must be received by June 30 of that year.

Cash and Checks
Most contributions to O’Neal are made in the form of cash or checks. Checks should be made payable to The O’Neal School and sent to:

Recurring Gifts or Installments
Continue your support throughout the year by establishing monthly or bi-monthly payments. Please contact Katie Novak at 910-692-6920 ext. 113 or knovak@onealschool.org to learn more about recurring gifts or installments.

Credit Cards
The O’Neal School also accepts donations by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Donors may use their credit cards to make an online donation. Credit cards and gift payments can also be called into the Advancement Office at (910) 692-6920, ext. 113 with the following information: donor’s name, credit card number, expiration date, amount of gift and gift designation.

Planned Giving
The Legacy Society recognizes the generosity of those alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends who have remembered The O’Neal School in their estate plans through wills, trusts, and other planned giving vehicles. You can become a member of the Legacy Society by including The O’Neal School in your estate plans and advising the Advancement Office of your commitment. Corporate Matching Gifts
You can double or even triple the value of your contribution by taking advantage of your employer's Matching Gifts Program. Simply consult your personnel office to obtain a matching gift form and inquire about the details of your employer’s matching gifts program. Send the completed form to the Advancement Office and you will receive recognition for the combined amount of your gift and your employer’s matching gift.

Honorary or Memorial Gifts Through the Annual Fund
You may make a gift in honor of a loved one, a graduating senior, a grandchild or a favorite teacher or coach. You also may want to remember a loved one with a memorial gift. Let us know the name of the person you wish to honor or remember when you make your gift. We will send you a receipt for the gift, and we will notify the honoree or the family of the loved one of your kindness.
