O’Neal Celebrates Best of the Pines Honors
The O’Neal School is proud to celebrate two outstanding honors in the 2026 Best of the Pines awards!
After being named a finalist in both the Best Summer Camp and Best Private/Charter School categories, O’Neal received exciting news on September 16: O’Neal was voted Best Summer Camp and earned third place for Best Private/Charter School!
Presented annually by The Pilot newspaper, Best of the Pines is a people’s choice awards campaign recognizing favorite businesses, organizations, services, and community destinations throughout Moore County. The campaign begins with community nominations in June, followed by a final round of voting in July and a September celebration honoring the winners.
These awards are especially meaningful because they reflect the voices of our community. From the energy and experiences of O’Neal’s summer camp programs to the exceptional learning environment our faculty and staff create throughout the school year, these honors celebrate the many people who make O’Neal such a special place.
