The O’Neal School and Sandhills Futbol Club Announce Soccer Development Partnership

The O’Neal School is pleased to announce a new soccer development partnership with Sandhills Futbol Club (SFC) that will enhance Middle School boys and girls soccer beginning in the 2026 academic year.
Through this partnership, Sandhills Futbol Club will serve as the primary soccer development provider for O’Neal’s Middle School soccer programs, bringing professional coaching and a development-centered approach to both the fall and spring seasons. Training will focus on age-appropriate technical skills, tactical understanding, and fostering a positive team culture, with structured, curriculum-based sessions led by SFC coaches.

“This partnership represents an exciting step forward for our Middle School athletics program,” said Athletics Director Lance Stucky. “Sandhills FC brings professional expertise and a values-driven philosophy that aligns well with O’Neal’s mission.”

In addition to on-field training, student-athletes will benefit from end-of-season feedback and consistent communication between coaches, school administrators, and families. Sandhills FC will also become a preferred external pathway for O’Neal students seeking additional club-level soccer opportunities.

“We are thrilled to partner with The O’Neal School,” said Ankit Nagar, Founder and Director of Sandhills Futbol Club. “This collaboration supports student-athletes in a school environment while reinforcing our commitment to foundational development, safeguarding, and community impact.”

The partnership includes shared use of facilities, collaborative communication and branding, and the potential for future opportunities such as camps, clinics, and expanded soccer programming. An annual review will assess outcomes and explore continued growth of the partnership.

This collaboration reflects O’Neal’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional athletic experiences that support student development both on and off the field.
