O’Neal Celebrates International Thespian Honor Society Inductions

On Thursday, September 11th, O’Neal proudly welcomed new and returning members into the International Thespian Honor Society, a prestigious organization founded in 1929 to promote excellence in theater arts in secondary schools. Now an international community with over 2.2 million members, the Society recognizes students who demonstrate dedication, talent, and leadership in theater.
During the induction ceremony, speakers reflected on the transformative power of theater at O’Neal, sharing personal stories and highlighting the program’s growth—from a small group of passionate performers to a thriving community that supports multiple productions and festival participation. They encouraged new inductees to embrace their creativity and find inspiration in the supportive environment that O’Neal Theater offers.
