Dave Williamson Awarded $2,000 Grant for Environmental Education

The week, The O'Neal School had a surprise visit from Ryley Osentoski from Central Electric Membership Cooperative.  Mr. Osentoski arrived to announce that Upper School faculty member and Science Department Chair Dave Williamson was awarded a $2,000 grant to support his classroom instruction with the Threatened and Endangered Flora and Fauna initiative.  Mr. Williamson's application was selected from over 70 applicants, and he will be able to utilize these funds to equip students for an upcoming overnight field trip to the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge.  Congrats to Mr. Williamson!
